VINTAGE
MY STORY Incredible early 1960s buttercream satin mini dress and cathedral length detachable train. This set is dead stock, never been worn and saved from an abandoned high end department store in North Carolina. It comes with its original retail tags. The dress features a high neckline encrusted in pearls, a classic 60s straight silhouette with lace appliquè and silver pearl daisy detail decorating the front and back. The sleeves fall into a bishop shape and are tapered by lace, satin covered buttoned cuffs. The back features a zipper and hidden fabric hooks that attach to the hooks on the train. These fabric hooks are covered by an open piece of lace that make the train look seamless when worn. The train is pleated and features the same floral appliquè as the dress.
