MY STORY This is a very special late 1970s Gunne Sax piece. The Poppy Gown features a high neckline embellished in crochet trim, a deep sheer V panel and ruffle trim on the bodice, back zipper and pearl button closures, a basque waistline with attached waist ties and a floaty, three layer skirt including an inbuilt crinoline. The outer layer of the skirt also features ruffle detail, mimicking the ruffle on the bodice. The fabric is a slightly textured swiss dot pattern.
