This is a black label piece - meaning it is dated to when Jessica McClintock first purchased the Gunne brand in 1969. It is a prime example of the early designs by Jessica, heavily influenced by hippies that flocked to the city. Details include an open neckline with a lace up corset bodice, puffed short sleeves (with similar corset detail), an empire waist, zipper up the back and a full skirt, decorated in delicate crochet lace and a ruffles.
